The UK Haemophilia Society have referred members for the first time to HBDCA services, acknowledging the challenging times in which we find ourselves with Covid-19. HBDCA CEO, Christina Burgess, said:
“I am delighted that The Haemophilia Society has shared, with its members, our HBDCA initiative to offer free crisis support during the Covid-19 pandemic. It is crucial for people to access psychological services, should they need them, during this immensely difficult time for us all. HBDCA is offering this support to the bleeding disorder community including to healthcare professionals. We are a tiny but committed team and want you all to know that we are here if needed.”
We would like to reiterate that we are here to support the bleeding disorders community in any way we can, particularly through times of crisis.
